Yahoo SERP getting complex
I want clarification for quite a few queries that are interrelated, so please give suitable answers to all the queries in brief. I feel it is better to ask one query rather than creating individual post for each query. Why does Yahoo SERP behave so strangely? I get shocking results for my site and there is no explanation for such weirdness. Can anyone help me in finding the cause of such behavior or ways of controlling such behavior? Yahoo SERP is getting more and more complex with time, which is making it more difficult to understand it. Has anyone of you had any similar experiences with yahoo?

SEO Tip - Trade backlinks with industry specific websites
This sort of piggy backs on the Zappos example from above. Always seek out the main players in your industry. When you contact another website for a link, be polite! I can’t tell you how many link requests I have taken in which the trade request is rude. I throw those out right away.

It will be more difficult to get high rankings with clone sites
Many spammers clone the content of websites to get high rankings for the long tail keywords that are listed on these pages. For example, some people scraped the contents of Google Groups and actually got higher rankings than the original Google Groups pages in Google's search results.
Matt Cuts also comments on that issue:
"I've been tracking how often this happens over the last month. It's gotten much, much better, and one additional algorithmic change coming soon should help even more. I'm not saying that a clone will never be listed above SO, but it definitely happens less often compared to a several weeks ago."
